
Multiple EF-1 Rated Tornadoes Do Damage In Eau Claire County
WAUSAU, Wis. (WXCO) – The National Weather Service confirms at least 4 tornados touched down and did destruction in southern Eau Claire county Monday evening.
The NWS Twin Cities confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down northeast of Mondovi in Buffalo County, then it crossed into Eau Claire County briefly before lifting.

NWS reports it hit winds speeds of 95 mph and ripped shingles, siding and gutters off of some homes. Large trees were snapped and twisted, seen laying on roads.
A second EF-1 touched down for a moment, south of Allen and west of Foster. It also hit winds at 95 mph and damaged a pole barn and tossed debris into a field. Large trees were twisted at the base.

A brief and weaker third EF-0 twister also dropped down near Hale Corner, snapping trees.

A fourth tornado with EF-1 damage occurred south and east of Augusta. It took shingles off of a roof, and pushed trees on top of cars and shattered a shed.
